About the Role
As the Head of School at Helensvale State High School, you will have responsibility for the duties listed under Your Role on the attached role description. The Head of School position will also focus on daily leadership and management whilst supporting the Executive Principal with governance and strategic agendas. The Head of School will line manage Deputy Principals and report to the Executive Principal.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Uphold the principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
