An exciting opportunity exists for a Principal Project Manager to work within a large and complex Information Management (IM)/Information Communication Technology (ICT) environment, ensuring the delivery of valued, integrated and effective business solutions to the project.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

The Telecommunications and ICT Business Improvement portfolio has a Project Services team responsible for delivering ICT initiatives for the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.
The next phase of initiatives includes upgrades, enhancements and expansion to existing Sunshine Coast University Hospital deployed applications, uplifts to infrastructure capacity and capabilities at both Nambour General Hospital (NGH) and Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH) and new strategic ICT initiatives.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Manage the definition, documentation and successful completion of a large scale, complex project in line with Queensland Health project management methodologies.
- Promote and ensure use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools, including benefits realisation and risk and issue management, to ensure quality project outcomes are delivered.
- Manage, monitor and report on project related trends and performance against project plans and schedules.
Remuneration value up to $166,569 p.a., comprising salary between $136,035- $145,990 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO7).
