About the role
The purpose of this role is to provide high level, confidential and professional administration advice, assistance and support to the Metro North Medicine Stream, Metro North Health as required.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Act as the primary point of contact for the Metro North Medicine Stream with all internal and external stakeholders for incoming and outgoing communication.
- Coordinate the administrative aspects of the Metro North Medicine Stream by:
- Managing diary and emails, including coordinating relevant briefing material for meetings, associated booking of meeting facilities and equipment.
- Screening, directing, and responding to enquires in a timely manner. Provide initial response (within delegation) and any associated follow up where necessary.
- Examining and prioritising incoming papers correspondence, reports, submissions, and routine administrative paperwork for the Metro North Medicine Stream.
- Coordinating workload priorities of the Metro North Medicine Stream, ensuring effective time management practices are implemented and efficient follow-up and record management systems are developed and maintained.
- Provide secretarial support by coordinating meetings, preparing confidential papers and coordinating high level meeting agendas recording and circulating relevant documents.
