About the opportunity:
Position: Nurse Educator – Cardiac Centre
Vacancy: Permanent full-time
Location: Townsville University Hospital
About the role:
The Cardiac Centre facilitates a co located Coronary Care Unit and Cardiac Ward. The unit is provided with full cardiology support, including on-call 24-hour Echocardiography, Angiography, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention and Temporary/Permanent pacemaker services as well as acute and elective Cardioversions. Co-located within the Coronary Care Unit is the 2 bed Chest Pain Assessment Unit (CPAU) which provides an accelerated risk stratified pathway of care for Intermediate Risk, Acute Coronary Syndromes.

- Salary range: $5081.10 to $5516.60 p.f. (NG7)
- Annual leave with 17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

Requirements:
- Mandatory qualifications (Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification) and proof of registration (AHPRA)
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted including criminal history clearance.
