About us:

Physiotherapy Department involves a holistic approach to the prevention, assessment and therapeutic management disorders of movement or optimisation of function to enhance the health and welfare of the community.

CQ Health offers a comprehensive physiotherapy service across the lifespan to support patients through their acute hospital admission, recovery following discharge or when accessing other specialist outpatient services. Our physiotherapists work in hospital and community facilities across Gladstone, Biloela, Emerald, Capricorn Coast and Rockhampton regions.

About the role:

  • Provide clinical leadership and deliver specialist level physiotherapy care inclusive of Intensive Care, Coronary Care, General Medicine, Surgical, Orthopaedic, Musculoskeletal, Respiratory, Cancer Care, Community and Paediatric services.
  • Contribute to the advancement of quality physiotherapy services and optimal patient care through provision of clinical services, clinical leadership for service development, quality improvement, clinical education and research activities.
  • The Physiotherapist Advanced – Clinical Lead reports operationally and professionally to the Director Physiotherapy.

About you:

  • Possession of a recognised degree in Physiotherapy and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Physiotherapy Board of Australia is mandatory for this position.
  • While not mandatory, a postgraduate qualification consistent with a senior leadership role is highly desirable.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $172,615 is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $73.12 - $76.30 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
