As the Business Coordinator, you will provide quality assurance in the form of valuable and ethical compliance and governance, assisting management's decision-making processes. Furthermore, you will assist, contribute, support and provide effective client-focused financial, human resources and administrative services for clients of the division.
What you'll do
- Liaise and represent senior managers in the coordination and planning of the budget build and forecast.
- Establish and maintain administrative systems and processes to support the functions of the division.
- Coordinate monthly and quarterly reporting processes, collating reports, analysing financial transactions and reviewing general ledger accounts.
- Ensure that the business functions operate consistently and effectively enabling strategic objectives and legislative obligations are met.
- Utilise information technology and financial systems to investigate and analyse financial data, implementing the necessary compliance and governance measures that will ensure ongoing general ledger integrity.
About you
We are searching for someone with:
- Highly developed experience, skills and knowledge of departmental budgetary and human resource processes and reporting requirements and the ability to extract, collate and interpret information and to prepare and present diverse business reports using data.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in generating reports using Queensland Health Information Systems for decision making, Ability to resolve problems and work autonomously to achieve organisational goals.
- Highly developed interpersonal, consultation and other communication skills, particularly tact, discretion, sensitivity, confidentiality and an ability to communicate and work with senior management and staff alike.
