About the opportunity:

Position: Administration Officer (Ward reliever)

Vacancy: Fixed Term Temporary part-time, 38 hours p.f.

Location: Wards Administration, Clinical Information Service, Townsville University Hospital.

The Administration Officer plays a crucial role in providing administrative support within a fast-paced hospital environment. As a vital member of the administrative team, you will collaborate with stakeholders to manage and coordinate the day-to-day administrative operations in Wards Administration and the wider Clinical Information Administration Service.

A high level of professionalism and empathy must be maintained while adhering to strict confidentiality guidelines. Please note: This role encompasses shiftwork, including afternoon shifts, weekends and public holidays as we ensure round-the-clock support to meet patient needs.

  • Salary range: $38.81 to $43.16 p.h. (AO3)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

Requirements:

  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
