The role of the Clinical Midwife Caseload is to provide culturally sensitive, individualised and evidence-based continuity of care for all women across the childbearing continuum in the Cassowary Hub, through the provision of an “all risk” Midwifery Group Practice. This midwifery model of care utilises an integrated, collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to achieve positive outcomes for women and their newborns and families.

About your opportunity:
In this position you will:
- Provide clinical leadership for professional and clinical practice, education and research in conjunction with the Midwife Grade 7 and Midwife Grade 6.2.
- Use effective communication skills to influence and convince others in a mature, confident manner to achieve positive client outcomes, including providing informant and/or advice on clinical issues within the RM scope of practice.
- Accountable for planning, provision and communication of midwifery practice including the evaluation and required revision of practice, and for staff and client safety across a shift.
- Maintain productive multi-disciplinary working relationships, effectively dealing with challenging behaviours and the resolution of conflicts.
