- Geography/Humanities and Social Sciences (Middle Years) - Year 7-12 (Temporary 14/07/2025 to 13/07/2026)
The role involves teaching Senior Geography, Year 7–8 Humanities, and Year 9 History, with responsibilities including curriculum coordination and assessment planning and moderation. Essential skills include strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum (Years 7–9 HASS), classroom management, inclusive pedagogy, teamwork, and experience in assessment practices. Desirable skills include leadership experience, familiarity with digital learning tools like QLearn and OneNote, and involvement in extracurricular Humanities or Geography activities.
- Engineering Skills / Design and Technologies (Industrial Technology strands) - Year 10-12 (Temporary 26/05/2025 to 13/10/2025)
We are looking for an experienced industrial design and technologies (IDT) teacher that has the appropriate skills and qualifications to teach our VET courses - Certificate II in Engineering Pathways and/or Certificate II in Automotive in partnership with TAFE Qld.
Our ideal candidate will have at least one of the below qualifications:
• Certificate IV in Training or Assessment (TAE) or other appropriate trainer skill sets as determined by ASQA
• Certificate II in Engineering Pathways
• Certificate II in Automotive Vocational Pathways
Candidates with the following are also encouraged to apply:
• Experience teaching Engineering Skills Applied Syllabus
• Industry skills and experience in practical engineering or automotive fields
• Willingness to complete RPL processes to receive necessary qualifications if required
