Infrastructure Services Division (ISD), Regional Operations unit, is seeking a committed and proactive Director to join their team on a temporary basis until 14 November 2025, unless otherwise determined.

About the Department:

About the Role:

You will provide high quality oversight and support relating to our Regional Operations services across DoE's Metropolitan South and South East Regions (MSR & SER).

The Director, Regional Operations Metropolitan South and South East Regions (MSR & SER) key responsibilities are:

  • To provide advice and services that contribute to the effective planning and delivery of fit for purpose, safe and well maintained and operated facilities that enable our students, teachers and staff to learn, teach and work.
  • Provide direction, guidance and leadership to staff, manage their work performance and provide appropriate feedback across two ISD regional teams.
  • Effective and consistent engagement with and across ISD and DoE divisions to plan and deliver infrastructure services.
  • To ensure our services and projects are carried out efficiently, effectively and economically.
  • Demonstrate consistent governance, transparency and accountability in relation to prioritisation, planning and delivery to our customers and stakeholders.
  • Provide timely advice and communication to key ISD and regional stakeholders concerning overall services, project/program progress and milestones as well as escalation of issues and responses.

Other Responsibilities (as required):

  • Other suitable duties, consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed by the supervisor or nominated delegate.

The Director reports to the Executive Director, Regional Operations Unit, Infrastructure Delivery and Operations Branch.
