About the role
Temporary part time opportunity to provide efficient administration support to the Redcliffe Hospital Emergency Department and requires a high level of customer service, data accuracy, teamwork, respect and compassion. The Administrative Officer will respond to enquiries and provide information and assistance to all clinical staff, consumers/carers, and visitors to facilitate effective service delivery within hospital setting.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Ensure patients, staff, and visitors are treated fairly and with mutual respect and understanding, regardless of cultural, religious, ethnic and linguistic backgrounds.
- Commit to patient safety and quality in the delivery of health care by actively participating in safety and quality practices.
- Perform a support role to Clinicians within the department by assisting with the preparation and completion of a range of administrative tasks.
- Completion of patient chart requirements in accordance with hospital protocols, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
