About Springwood State High School

Situated 20 minutes south of Brisbane CBD, we are a co-educational school for years 7-12. About the Role

This is a OO2 progression position as per the Role Description. The successful applicant will be appointed to the OO2 classification with eligibility for progression to the OO3 level once specific criteria have been met. Please note salary rate shown is reflective of OO2 to OO3 classification range.  

Roles and Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Lawn management (Mowing, brush cutting, spraying, fertilising);
  • Garden management (Spraying, weeding, mulching, fertilising, planting new plants)
  • Facility management (Facilities tasks, identifying risks/hazards, maintaining facilities,
  • preparing areas of our school for events);
  • Rubbish management ;
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders (Teachers, Contractors, Hirers etc);
  • Identifying WHS risks.

About You

As a dynamic and well organised team member you will display excellence in problem solving, time management and a passion to ensure our grounds are maintained to a high standard.
You will collaborate with our Facility Team to ensure our grounds and facilities are maintained to a high standard to allow our students to REACH each day. Have computer skills to use our online jobs program.
