An exciting opportunity exists for an Administration Officer to join our growing Residential Aged Care Acute Support Service (RaSS), currently based at Nambour General Hospital.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

The Administration Officer provides a high level of confidential administrative support for the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS). This position is a prime point of contact for internal communication on a daily basis and externally with various departments and agencies.
The RaSS model of care partners with Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACFs) and GP's across the care continuum within the SCHHS to provide alternate care pathways for frail, acutely unwell persons in residential aged care facilities.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Assist with the management of rosters and payroll enquires from staff, by liaising with payroll services and submitting relevant paperwork.
- Exercising judgement when necessary to solve immediate problems in situations where precedents have not been set and procedures not defined.
- Actively communicate with Residential Aged Care Facilities and General Practitioners regarding patients on behalf of the service.
Remuneration value up to $41,118 p.a., comprising salary rates $38.81- $43.16 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO3) (part time position, 32 hrs p.f.).
