What your day will look like….
In this role, you'll be an integral part of a close-knit, interdisciplinary team, providing direct, compassionate care to patients in the perioperative setting. You'll take ownership of delivering quality care in line with Australian College of Operating Room Nurses (ACORN) standards, whether as an Instrument Nurse or Circulating Nurse. Through effective communication, critical thinking, and ethical decision-making, you'll ensure the safety and well-being of patients, actively contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. Your day will include supporting your colleagues through mentorship and guidance, playing an important role in maintaining high standards of clinical practice, and ensuring that all procedures and protocols are followed to ensure optimal patient outcomes. With a focus on safety, quality, and professional development, you'll find your days filled with purpose and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of those you care for.
