About the Role
As the Project Officer in a regional campus of the Education Futures Institute, you will lead administrative, organisational and corporate functions to support a dynamic team in the delivery of high-quality capability development. You will work as an integral member of your regional team and play a key role in liaising and providing outstanding customer service for staff and teams in schools and across the region.
As Project Officer, you will:
- Lead administration, organisation and corporate functions to support the delivery of capability programs and initiatives
- Coordinate booking, travel and financial activities including corporate card payments and reconciliations, using appropriate software programs and adhering to departmental standards
- Liaise with senior management, team members and colleagues in the Department and other external stakeholders to ensure the provision of high-quality administrative support functions
- Lead organisational and executive support including scheduling, communications and correspondence, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
The Project Officer reports to the Director, Capability. This position will be located in the Darling Downs South West Regional Office.
About You
The ideal applicant is someone who:
- Has high level event management experience; exposure to the Ivvy event management system would be beneficial
- Has outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Brings high level organisation and problem solving to prioritise and manage tasks
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Content Manager and MS Teams; exposure to SAP would be beneficial.
- Enjoys working with a diverse team to deliver outcomes and make a positive impact in education.
