About the Role

Leading the implementation and oversight of the Code of Conduct framework and pastoral care program.

Driving positive engagement practices for a designated year level, in alignment with Department of Education legislation, policies, and guidelines.

Demonstrating strong knowledge and understanding of both junior and senior academic pathways.

Effectively line managing a team to improve student outcomes in line with the Annual Implementation Plan.

Managing student behaviour and engagement by tracking, monitoring, and evaluating data to assess and improve the effectiveness of related policies, strategies, and practices.

Collaborating with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to support staff through expert guidance in positive behaviour management, build staff capability to enhance student engagement and attendance, and identify and scale effective practices by recognising staff strengths.

Designing and implementing initiatives that celebrate and recognise positive student engagement, including events involving students, parents, and the wider community.

Actively committing to and promoting our school's vision, values, and culture.
