Your Contribution
The ECQ is looking for a versatile, multi-skilled and motivated person who is keen to develop or broaden their experience in the operational aspects of electoral events.
The successful candidate will play a key role assisting with finance support to stakeholders.
As the Finance Officer you will be responsible for the following:
• Assist in the processing of the ECQ's Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, journals, accruals and purchase orders.
• Assist in maintaining the ECQ's corporate cards reconciliation process and cost centre management.
• Assist with the management of the shared Finance inbox and service desk requests through Jira platform.
• Assist in answering general finance queries from both internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing monthly expenditure, revenue and trial balance report and complete an audit sample of transactions processed.
• Assist in coordinating and managing the financial receipts and refunds of the Non-Voter process for elections.
• Assist with supervising and training of casual and temporary employees within the work unit during major electoral events and participate actively in all facets of the conduct of electoral events where required.
• Possess sound knowledge of SAP ECC and eForm process.
• Consistently display the ECQ and Queensland Government values, ensuring that these are upheld at all levels of the organisation.
Applications will remain current for 12 months or for the duration of the vacancy. Future vacancies of a temporary, full time and part time nature may also be filled through this recruitment process.
