Reporting to the Manager, Assessment and Case Management Governance, you will be responsible for co-ordinating and managing a broad range of critical assessment and case management governance activities and ensuring successful development, monitoring and maintenance of assessment and case management practices. In this role, you will contribute to community safety by ensuring quality assessment and case management practices.
In this role you will:
- Develop and maintain monitoring systems and processes, in consultation with internal stakeholders to ensure a sustainable assessment and case management governance framework for the E2E Operating Model.
- Partner with stakeholders in developing and implementing systems, processes and resources that support the use of evidence-informed assessment and case management tools including products and resources for end users.
- Harness agency expertise to build and support effective communities of practice that will ensure collaborative consideration of emerging issues and trends in assessment and case management practice.
- Design and analyse QCS data systems to identify and report on trends and issues and develop high quality written reports.
- Research and maintain own contemporary knowledge of literature in offender assessment and case management to identify new emerging trends and initiatives.
- Contribute to the provision of advice and support to internal and external stakeholders in relation to assessment and case management including operational directorates and tool developers/oversight bodies including oversight of any contractual obligations.
- Leverage networks to collaborate with tool developers, researchers, and experts to gather insights, guidance, and best practices on the application of assessment tools.
- Contribute to the development of complex reports and papers, briefing notes, publications, and correspondence for various audiences as it relates to assessment and case management.
- Support the Manager to monitor, evaluate and validate assessment and case management practices.
- Co-design and maintain frameworks including quality assurance frameworks, supervision, and training frameworks to support QCS front-end assessment and case management practices and robust decision making aimed at improving service outcomes.
- Identify and develop strategies to effectively respond to any emerging risks to the effectiveness of the implementation of assessment and case management practices inclusive of monitoring risks associated with integration of tools across custodial and community settings.
- Co-ordinate and implement recommendations from internal/external reviews and evaluations pertaining to assessment and case management practices.
- Assist with the development of procedures and practical strategies, which support best practice in assessment and case management.
- Conduct reviews in relation to case management events as needed to identify trends and issues for QCS.
- Provide and co-ordinate secretariate support and assistance to relevant assessment and case management governance committees including Boards, Business Reference Groups and Communities of Practice.
- Contribute to a culture which fosters collaboration, evidence-informed decision making, innovation, and performance-orientation, where employees are passionate about their work and take personal accountability for their actions.
- Support and lead continuous improvement activities whilst maintaining an all of system perspective and leading any strategic engagement with relevant stakeholders.
- Support the manager in coaching and developing staff in the unit.
