Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) Pharmacy Department are looking for an Advanced Pharmacist (Medical Logistics) to join their team. As a tertiary level hospital, the PAH Pharmacy Department delivers excellence in patient centred care, education and research in most major adult specialities. The department places emphasis on pharmacist training and education and has dedicated educators to facilitate training for undergraduate, new graduate and post graduate clinical pharmacists, as well as within the organisation for medical/nursing staff and students.

About the Role
- This role is responsible for the operational management of the PAH Pharmacy Department medicines inventory, technology and financial reconciliation working within local and national funding structures and legislative frameworks.
- Provide advice to senior management, colleagues, and other relevant stakeholders, including the Medication Use Evaluation Sub-Committee, regarding complex professional standards and clinical service development in relation to procurement and medicines expenditure.
- Use evidence-based practice to apply knowledge and skills that facilitate critical decisions in a complex clinical environment on in the procurement of non-TGA registered agents in a timely manner adhering to national guidelines for the use of off-label medicines.
