Tell me more... We're looking for passionate Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Health Workers who want to make a valuable contribution to the health and wellbeing to communities across the Torres and Cape region.

What you'll do

  • Work closely with clients, families, and community to deliver holistic care
  • Help yarn through health concerns, build trust, and support self-determination
  • Assist clinical teams with culturally safe practices
  • Be a health advocate, educator, and support for mob
  • Travel to different communities, working where you're most needed

What we're looking for

  • Identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
  • Holds current registration as an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioner as recognised by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioner Board of Australia (ATSIHPBA) and,
  • Successfully completed a Diploma in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health or equivalent.
  • A good listener, strong communicator, and respectful yarning style
  • Passionate about helping mob live strong, healthy lives
  • Community-minded with cultural knowledge and heart
