We are looking for an experience manager who will be responsible for coordinating and managing the Queensland Government’s waste and resource recovery data collation, monitoring and reporting arrangements and data and financial functions of Queensland's waste levy (including associated information technology systems). You will manage the collation of business intelligence from internal and external stakeholders and partners to support the department’s evidence-based decision- making and meet our statutory reporting requirements.

The Office of Circular Economy is responsible for leading policy and initiatives to elevate Queensland's resource recovery performance to one of the best in Australia by developing and implementing actions that recognise the value of waste to the economy as well as facilitate investment in innovation, processing facilities and market development. The department is seeking motivated and collaborative professionals to contribute to this significant agenda.
This role is responsible for coordinating and managing the Queensland Government's waste and resource recovery data collation, monitoring and reporting arrangements (including associated information technology systems). You will manage the collation of business intelligence from internal and external stakeholders and partners to support the department's evidence-based decision-making and meet our statutory reporting requirements.
Working in the Data and Evaluation team, you will be responsible for managing the data analytics, information management and reporting and waste levy data and finance program of work. You will also be responsible for leading a team responsible for significant projects and ongoing work, such as the annual Recycling and Waste in Queensland report, the implementation of new data capture initiatives and the operation of IT systems and applications, as well as identifying new and creative ways to analyse, share and collect data and information.
