Logan Adult Mental Health Service are looking for a Team Leader (Social Worker, Psychologist or Occupational Therapist) to join their Mobile Intensive Rehabilitation Team. This team provides intensive psycho-social rehabilitation services to consumers with severe and complex mental health needs that focuses on assisting the consumer to meet their individual recovery goals, with a focus on functional improvement across domains, to prepare the consumer for their care to be eventually transitioned to the private sector. This role provides operational management and strategic leadership for an interprofessional team of health professionals.

About the Role

• Lead and support the delivery of clinical services in accordance with accepted professional practices, standards and principles including the legal and ethical requirements with a high degree of independence.
• Provide operational advice and direction to a team of health professionals to ensure effective service delivery and quality outcomes applying change management, conflict resolution and negotiation skills where necessary.
• Utilise high-level communication, inter-personal skills, negotiation and conflict management skills to develop and maintain excellent working relationships and achieve key performance indicators for effective service delivery. This includes identification and escalation of profession specific supervisory issues to relevant professional directors.
• Co-ordinate service succession planning within the Logan MSAMHS in collaboration with discipline specific seniors and professional directors.
