Role details
The Administration Services at the Sarina Hospital is seeking applications for an Administration Officer to join their team on a casual basis.

Your opportunity
- Communicate with staff and customers and on all levels, demonstrating professionalism and a positive service focus at all times.
- Undertake administrative support tasks for a variety of departments, ensuring effective day to day operations are maintained, demonstrating initiative, flexibility, self-direction and independence in the absence of direct supervision.
- Assist in maintaining and promoting high level data integrity within internal databases and systems.
- Actively participate in and ensure a working environment which is motivated, productive and committed to client service as well as compliant with quality human resource management practices including employment equity, antidiscrimination, occupational health and safety and ethical behaviour.
- Any other duties that may be requested by the Business Manager to meet the operational requirements of the organisation.
- Exercise discretion whilst maintaining high levels of confidentiality with a commitment to client service.
- Ensure patient records are filed and documented records for the centre are appropriately retained as required including the completion of computer records and the appropriate required documentation.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of records by utilising approved record management systems and accurate data entry.
- Perform a broad range of office duties including efficient and effective switchboard operation and reception duties.
About the Team
The Sarina Hospital has 16 beds providing general medical acute and sub-acute care and admissions, a 24-hour Emergency Department, palliative care, pathology collection, radiology services, respite care, rehabilitation care, telehealth services, as well as various clinics and visiting services.
