This permanent role offers a rewarding opportunity to deliver high-quality, specialist care to individuals affected by alcohol and other drug use across Central Queensland.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll be a key part of evidence-based interventions, promotion of harm reduction, and support improved health outcomes for clients, families, and the community. The position is based in Rockhampton and support outreach services in surrounding Central Queensland.

About us:
Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (AODS) aims to reduce the harm from alcohol and other drug use as well as improve the health and wellbeing of our clients, their families, and the community. Our main office is in Rockhampton, with outreach services located in other areas including Yeppoon, Emerald, Blackwater, and Biloela.
About the role:
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Clinical Nurse in Alcohol and Other Drugs to utilise their skills in a dynamic AOD service, working closely with senior Nursing positions and the multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care to clients of the AOD service.
About you:
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with a current annual nursing practicing certificate Division one is essential.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $131,900 is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $54.44 - $58.30
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
