Beenleigh Special School is a large special school in South East Region catering for 380 student with a disability. A large number of our teachers are experienced teachers new to working in a special school setting.

 

In the role of Pedagogical Coach, you will:

  • Lead and coordinate the coaching and mentoring of staff members with a focus on differentiating the curriculum and teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Deliver targeted professional development to teaching and non-teaching staff.
  • Lead the development, implementation and review of teaching and learning strategies in targeted programs.
  • Assume a lead role within the school leadership team with the development and implementation of strategies relating to targets relevant to each school location.
