The Granite Belt Cluster of Schools is seeking a knowledgeable, collaborative, and enthusiastic curriculum leader to support a group of small schools in implementing the Australian Curriculum with integrity.
You will work across the cluster as the Head of Department (Curriculum) on a temporary full-time basis until 12 December 2025, unless otherwise determined.

About the School and Cluster

The host school for this cluster is Severnlea State School. The other schools in the cluster are Wallangarra State School, Ballandean State School, Glen Aplin State School, Pozieres State School, Greenlands State School, Broadwater State School, The Summit State School, Amiens State School, Thulimbah State School, and Dalveen State School.The position accommodates various implementation methods, including virtual support for schools, travelling to schools at different times, or a combination of both. These approaches will depend on the geographical features of the cluster, the needs of the schools, and the flexibility of the successful applicant.

About the Role 

You will have responsibility for leading the following activities and delivery of the following key tasks:

  • Lead the relevant curriculum areas or whole school program to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
  • Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
  • Set high standards for student and staff performance.
  • Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
