The Division of Cancer Services are looking for a Temporary Full time Assistant Nursing Director-Division of Cancer Services to join their team. The Division of Cancer is a highly developed, multidisciplinary cancer service providing tertiary and quaternary level, comprehensive adult cancer services for Metro South Health and the wider Queensland community for a range of cancer related conditions with further expansion of the service to include Paediatric radiation oncology services.

About the Role
- Responsible for safe, compassionate care, integrating the Nursing and Midwifery Services which may include Professional Practice Model, quality frameworks (Magnet® or Pathway to Excellence®) and Person-Centred Care approaches of caring for each patient's psychological, social, emotional, spiritual, and physical care needs to achieve best clinical practice and individualised person-centred care and outcomes.
- Implement and monitor the organisation's quality standards, occupational health and safety policies, procedures and programs and provide clinical governance in the relevant work area.
- Participate in internal and external stakeholder engagement for nursing education and training by directing and monitoring strategies that support and promote education and learning.
- Contribute to a culture of research, innovation, and continuous improvement by actively participating in and supporting initiatives and research that enhances service delivery, encourages new ideas, and translates knowledge into practice.
