What your day will look like….
You'll engage in a mix of outpatient and inpatient care, working closely with a team of supportive colleagues—including fellow neurologists, trainees, and registrars—to provide expert input across a range of clinics, from epilepsy and MS to movement disorders and stroke. Your role includes leading multidisciplinary discussions, contributing to clinical governance, and shaping service quality. You'll also have opportunities to teach and mentor junior doctors and medical students, with the option to hold an academic title through the University of Queensland. Whether reviewing EEGs, performing procedures, or guiding patient care plans, your work will be meaningful, varied, and deeply valued.
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value from $184,257 (L18) up to $230,175 (L27) comprising salary rates between $100.78 (L18) and $127.77 p.h. (L27), motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., regional attraction allowance, professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.
