We operate 21 facilities from primary care in regional locations to highly specialised care at the main hospital.
Townsville University Hospital, the largest tertiary hospital in northern Australia, provides specialist referral services for 700,000 people living in the region.
This position operationally leads, manages and is the single point of accountability for the Mobile Intensive Rehabilitation Team.

Are you a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist ready to take the next step in your career? We're seeking a dynamic leader to join our Mental Health Service Group (MHSG) as a key advisor to the Director of Allied Health. In this pivotal role, you will provide strategic leadership and clinical expertise to a dedicated team of Occupational Therapists, shaping service delivery and driving excellence in mental health care.

- Salary range: $144,991 to $151,289 p.a. (HP5)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

Requirements:
- For Occupational Therapy the successful applicant must hold a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification from an accredited tertiary institution in Occupational Therapy. Registration with the Occupational Therapist Board Australia (AHPRA) is required.
- All employees of the Mental Health Service Group (MHSG) may be required to work in other areas of the Service.
- This position requires the incumbent to operate a class “C” motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
