Business Manager - Linville State School


Darling Downs South West Region, School and Regional Operations and Performance Division

Linville State School is seeking a passionate and driven Business Manager to join our dynamic team on a temporary part-time basis, at 0.29 FTE and 21 hours per fortnight, for a period of 6 months unless otherwise determined.

In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in managing a variety of corporate services that support the smooth operation of the school. You will collaborate closely with the school management team, helping drive systemic change while fostering a positive school community.

As Business Manager, you will oversee administrative, financial, and human resources functions, ensuring the efficient delivery of services.

About the Role

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Carry out administration duties to the school, staff and parents.
  • To follow the direction of the school principal and support the principal in their role.
  • Carry out financial tasks within the school with the support from a finance HUB.
  • To work with staff involving HR administration and completing timesheets.
  • To participate in and be actively involved in all relevant ongoing training for the role.
  • To be an active team member in a small school.
