About your opportunity:
This role will liaise with members of the Audiology, Heathy Hearing statewide service and ENT service stream to ensure best practice and high quality patient care is provided for all patients and provide day to day clinical supervision, training and support to audiologists, audiology students and audiology assistant staff as required.
About your role:
- Deliver independent, high level audiology clinical services to adult and paediatric clients within the Audiology Department and ENT service (including standard audiology assessments and electrophysiological assessments, as appropriate).
- Exercise independent professional judgement, clinical decision making and problem solving skills, in matters beyond routine practice with infrequent clinical practice supervision.
- Work cooperatively and effectively within the team and with clients, their families, community groups, other health professionals, supervisors and students.
- Actively participate in initiating, developing and implementing quality improvement activities to enhance the delivery of audiology services and multidisciplinary care.
- Work flexibly across all caseloads within the inpatient and outpatient streams and across other service streams in response to changing clinical demand.
