The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Breast Imaging Radiographer – Advanced to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Lead service improvement initiatives within the multidisciplinary team
- Provide expert advice and make evidence-based decisions in mammography and ultrasound
- Offer state-wide consultancy and participate in Quality Group meetings
- Train, mentor, and supervise advanced clinicians in mammography programs
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- A tertiary degree (or equivalent) in Medical Imaging Technology (Diagnostic Radiography)
- AHPRA Registration
- Possession of a Certificate of Clinical Proficiency in Mammography
- Possession of a Use Licence or be eligible for a Use Licence under the Radiation Safety Act 1999
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Driver Licence
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Temporary full time (17 September to 17th October 2025)
- Base salary ranging from $5 557.50 - $5 798.90 per fortnight

BreastScreen Queensland Gold Coast Service operates within the guidelines of the BreastScreen Australia and BreastScreen Queensland programs. These programs are funded through the Commonwealth and State governments to provide a free, population based, mammography screening and assessment service to women over 40 years of age.
