About the role:

Ever thought about a career in healthcare? As the Allied Health Assistant in Richmond, this is your chance to work as part of the Rural Allied Health and Richmond MPHS teams to deliver excellent care for patients and residents of the Richmond Multipurpose Health Service (MPHS), and the wider Richmond community.

In this role, you will work with the Physiotherapist, Social Worker, Speech Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Podiatrist, and other allied health professionals to deliver goal-oriented therapeutic interventions to support great patient and resident outcomes. With no two days the same, this is an excellent opportunity to showcase your high level interpersonal and communication skills in a health care environment.

Enjoy a generous remuneration package value up to $92,813 p.a. comprising:

  • Salary range: $2916.00 to $3118.00 p.f. (CA4)
  • Annual leave with 17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

Mandatory requirements:

  • While a Certificate IV in AHA or equivalent will allow you to step into this role now, if you don't have this qualification but are the right person for the job, we will support you to learn and grow on the job while working as a CA3 Allied Health assistant.
  • Possession of C class drivers' licence.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
  • Probation period may apply.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted including criminal history clearance, including Blue Card Checks and NDIS Worker Screening Checks.
  • A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn!
