About the Role
As Business Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the school's financial and operational functions. This includes managing the budget, supporting strategic planning, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legislation, and working closely with the Principal to deliver essential corporate services. You will also supervise administrative staff, drive process improvements, and collaborate with senior school leaders to ensure the effective day-to-day running of the school.
As the Business Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the school's budget and financial operations in alignment with departmental policies and procedures.
- Lead and support school administrative and non-teaching staff to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Oversee asset and facilities management, procurement, human resources administration, and compliance obligations.
- Support community partnerships, manage contracts, and coordinate the delivery of support services.
- Provide strategic input into school planning, including contributing to the development and monitoring of the Annual Implementation Plan (AIP).
- Support and guide the school's administration and non-teaching staff.
- Coordinate resources and systems to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Ensure compliance with departmental policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
- Manage the timely delivery of executive and administrative support services.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Promote best practice, support change initiatives, and influence key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
