About the role
Amazing opportunity to provide effective executive leadership, direction and strategy to the leads of all Metro North Health (MNH) clinical and operational services to optimise the provision of quality health care and continuously improve clinical and business outcomes.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide executive leadership, actively promote the organisational culture and values and build a workforce committed to continuous improvement.
- Develop a strong operational and performance focus within the facility management teams and across MNH, focussing on strong clinician engagement.
- Contribute to the overall strategy for MNH and the delivery of a workable strategic plan to achieve clinical and operational performance indicators.
- Manage the overarching governance of the directorates, streams and the facilities to ensure line of sight of accountabilities, and performance against agreed strategies and in line with the balanced scorecard approach to performance monitoring.
- Effectively liaise and negotiate with a range of internal and external stakeholders including State and Commonwealth government agencies, community groups, service providers, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, communities and organisations, education and research bodies, staff, clinicians, clients/consumers.
