Albany Creek State High School is offering an exciting opportunity for an Executive Assistant role. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering a wide spectrum of executive and secretarial assistance, as well as confidential administrative services, to facilitate the functions of the Principal and the school.
This role is offered on a temporary full-time basis, for the duration of Semester 2, 2025 unless otherwise determined.

About Albany Creek State High School
Albany Creek State High School is located on the North Side of Brisbane, with approximately 1600 students, and is located 15 kilometers north of Brisbane. The school recieves most of its students from the Albany Creek, Albany Hills and Eatons Hill primary schools and is enrolment managed which limits enrolments to within our catchment area or students who have gained successful entry into our Football (soccer), Dance, Drama, Visual Arts, Media Arts or Instrumenatl Music Excellence programs. About the Role
Provide confidential adminstrative and secretarial support to the Principal, including word processing, data base and spread sheet applications and produce advanced desktop published documents.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee the delivery of documenation presented to the Principal, schedule appointments, coordinate and organise meetings, conferences, professional development for staff, room bookings and functions, maintain diaries, take minutes of meetings and distribute to attendees and mange the provision of administrative and secretarial support to conferences as required.
- Maintain effective time management practices for the Principal including coordinating diary appointments, prioritising correspondence, preventing unnecessary interuptions and other calendar events.
- Coordinate the dissemination of information to office personnel and provide advice regarding office adminitrative procedures.
- Coordinate the records management activites, including records of incoming correspondence and Right to Information requests and monitor the flow of correspondence and provide advice and training in records management to other personnel.
- Manage records and other information resources so that information relevant to the school and its functions is readily available to clients.
