Haigslea State School is seeking a dedicated and experienced educator to serve as the permanent Principal, commencing 14 July 2025.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering the Department’s vision, enhancing the quality of teaching and learning, and fostering strong, positive relationships among students, staff, and the wider school community.

About the Role
As the Principal, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the school community in developing and committing to a shared vision focused on quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Uphold values-based, ethical and moral leadership.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Engage in lifelong learning and professional development.
- Form partnerships with parents, agencies, community groups and stakeholders.
- Be future-oriented and strategic.
- Understand policies and legislation impacting the school.
- Manage department resources to achieve goals.
