You will follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services, and workplaces.
What you'll do
• Manage the software design of highly complex systems and application solutions.
• Influence and provide expert technical advice and leadership to Queensland Health Program/Project teams and key decision makers relating to ICT system development, on-going integration, and production support.
• Oversee ICT software architecture and technical implementation within the DevOps set of practices that work to automate and integrate the processes between software development and IT teams, so they can build, test, and release software faster and more reliably. This across multiple complex and diverse Queensland Health change programs and initiatives based on clients' business and technical requirements.
• Work closely with other teams to manage collaborative relationships and consultations with senior stakeholders across Queensland Health and external technology vendors to develop, implement and integrate required changes.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Practical experience, including exposure to industry software architecture and development best practice processes, with the DevOps set of practices including Coding (e.g. development and review, source code management tools), Building (e.g. continuous integration), Testing, Packaging, releasing (e.g. change management, release automation), Configuring and Monitoring.
• Extensive knowledge in Digital Health platform standards and health policies for electronic medical record systems.
• This role will need to demonstrate expert knowledge in Cerner's infrastructure, application framework, Biomedical device integration and Integration frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders and external technology vendors to partner with them in delivering the required ICT outcomes.
