As the Wellbeing Officer, you will work collaboratively with existing workplace safety and wellbeing services providing leadership in the development, delivery and evaluation of health promotion and prevention strategies, psychoeducation on staff wellbeing and resilience and short term evidenced based psychological intervention for teams across FPaCS.

What you'll do

  • Utilise high level clinical and organisational skills to provide expert strategic and operational advice to senior leaders and managers on workforce management matters including best practice approaches to staff support and wellbeing and addressing psychosocial hazards in the workplace.
  • Provide regular reports to FPaCS leadership team on initiatives addressing and supporting wellbeing of staff.
  • Utilise high level psychological skills in assessment, formulation, intervention planning, implementation and outcomes evaluation in application to team level and organisation wide staff wellbeing concerns.
  • Lead the design, development and implementation of FPaCS wellbeing strategies, initiatives and projects to foster a culture of trauma-informed service delivery, self-care and wellbeing.

About you

We are searching for someone with:

  • High level of understanding of trauma-informed practice frameworks,
  • High level of psychological clinical expertise and skills within an organisational setting to provide specialist advice and input for the wellbeing of staff working within the context of the provision of coronial services,
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills including staff engagement and consultation, conflict resolution, negotiation and influencing.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise to effectively manage staff wellbeing initiatives in alignment with the overall strategic plan of FPaCS,
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use a range of IT systems including use of applications to support effective communication of ideas and concepts,
