About the Role:
As the Senior Project Officer, you will lead specialist project activities and manage the development, implementation and monitoring of project plans and phases, including the coordination of the various activities and teams associated with achieving the project objectives.
Responsibilities Include:
As the Senior Project Officer, you will have responsibility for the following:
- Administration, monitoring, and technical support of the Microsoft Fabric platform, including end-user licensing, capacity management, tenant configuration, and gateway support.
- Providing assistance and support to end users in utilising Microsoft Fabric for data engineering, data analysis, and business intelligence.
- Delivering well-researched and detailed recommendations to management regarding Microsoft Fabric, data application services, and opportunities to streamline team activities.
- Developing and maintaining project plans, milestones, and timelines to ensure the successful delivery of outcomes.
- Promoting and implementing effective communication, planning, and project management methodologies, including benefits realisation and risk and issue management.
- Troubleshooting and resolving operational issues related to Microsoft Fabric and associated data services.
- Engaging with stakeholders to provide advice, training, and support for the adoption and effective use of Microsoft Fabric.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and related technologies through research and investigation of industry developments.
You will also be required to develop, manage, and promote the use of effective communication, planning, and project management techniques, methodologies, and tools to ensure quality outcomes are delivered within required timelines.
