The team leads development, implementation, and advice on consumer policy issues, including embedded network reforms, Commonwealth lead consumer protection reforms and concessions. The team is also responsible for oversight and governance management for the Energy and Water Ombudsman and supporting (and delivering) legislative reform processes.
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:
• Well-developed analytical and written communications skills, including an ability to provide analysis on consumer policy issues and prepare written material, including project planning, policy development and correspondence.
• Experience in communicating with internal and external stakeholders and building relationships to establish mutually beneficial connections.
• Ability to plan and implement procurement processes.
• Experience in, or ability to acquire, knowledge and understanding of energyrelated regulatory frameworks.
The position is based in Brisbane with flexible work options available.
