About the Role
As a Head of Department - VET and Special Programs, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing the operations, teaching and learning of SchoolTech at the Cairns TAFE for year 12 students in 2025;
  • Taking on the role of RTO manager for the school;
  • Developing innovated programs to improve student pathways;
  • Demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and capacity to sustain productive relationships within and beyond the school community;
  • Being proactive, innovative and ability to use strategic thinking and analytical skills to contribute to educational outcomes at a school level, whilst ensuring legislative requirements are met will also be necessary.
