Maintenance Services are looking for two Tradespersons (Heating, Ventilation and Air-conditioning) to join their committed team. Metro South Maintenance Services are the incumbent maintenance provider for Metro South Health Hospitals and Health Service (MSH) Facilities, with the primary objective to manage the corrective and preventative maintenance for all MSH infrastructure and facilities. Metro South’s asset management objectives define the approach for delivering maintenance outcomes and the role of Maintenance management in supporting the achievement of the organisational objectives.

About the Role
- Perform planned and corrective maintenance activities relating to the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) plant, infrastructure and equipment in order to maintain MSH facilities in a safe and functional condition,
- Ensure all work is performed in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner to prescribed quality standards meeting customer needs whilst ensuring compliance with procedures, industrial and legislative provisions aligned to meet the business unit needs.
- Be an effective member of the team of HVAC tradespersons cohort responsible for the repair, installation, maintenance and repair of all HVAC infrastructure.
- Prioritise works, projects and timeframes, manage costs and make responsible and accurate recommendations that produce an effective work output in terms of quality and quantity, without supervision
- Provide professional, client focused, high-quality technical support to the operation and maintenance of the Hospital plant and infrastructure for MSH.
This position will be required to participate in an on-call roster.
