About us:
The Theodore Multipurpose Health Service located 229km southwest of Rockhampton, is part of the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service. Theodore is situated on the Leichhardt Highway between the junction of Castle Creek and the Dawson River.

About the role:
- Promoting strategies that will allow patients to be cared for in the most appropriate environment.
- Functioning in more complex situation while providing support and direction to Registered and Non-Registered Nursing personnel.
- Implementation and evaluation for care of clients with less predictable outcomes without supervision utilising advanced clinical and problem-solving skills.
About you:
- Current nursing qualification with a registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated ability to plan, deliver and coordinate increasingly complex patient care at an advanced level, with efficient and effective use of resources within a collegiate team structure.
- Knowledge of and / or involvement in Quality Management processes and / or research processes.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, problem solve and participate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of contemporary Human Resource Management issues, including Workplace Health and Safety, Equal Opportunity and Anti-Discrimination and Enterprise Bargaining Agreements as applied in the working environment.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $131,900 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $54.44 – $58.30 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
