About us:

Cancer Care Services' multidisciplinary team comprised of specialist medical, nursing and allied health professionals, with input from the patient's General Practitioner's (GP), provide consultation and treatment services at Rockhampton Base Hospital.

About the role:

The Day Therapy Unit Administration Officer contributes to patient safety and flow by providing a high-level reception and customer service. Additionally, the officer supports nurses, medical staff, and allied health professionals with admissions, discharges, and administrative tasks, all while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, attention to detail, and a strong focus on data quality.

About you:

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate bookings (clinical appointments, waiting list management, scheduling and meeting outcome targets) and to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service in a changing environment.
  • Knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn teleconferencing and videoconferencing facilitation and setup.
  • Demonstrated proficiency or ability to rapidly acquire skills in the use of Clinical Information Systems utilised for booking purposes.

What we offer:

Total monthly remuneration value of up to 8,138 p.m. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $38.81 - $43.16 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
