Senior Administration Officer

Addiction and Mental Health Service’s are looking for a Senior Administration Officer to join their team. The position supervises and coordinates administration requirements that supports a patient focussed service delivery within Metro South Addictions and Mental Health Services. This position provides high level front office reception and administrative services to support the services and assists administration staff, clinicians, consumers/carers, and visitors to facilitate effective service delivery in the provision of high-quality mental health care.

About the Role
- Manage administrative functions including but not limited to records management, data entry using Queensland Health Data Base systems, production and actioning of reports, preparation, mailing and actioning of correspondence, drafting and management of meeting agendas, high quality minute taking, collection, administration, and reconciliation of revenue, budgetary or financial information, coordination of shared resources/equipment, and collation and dissemination of information or resources.
- Supervise administrative staff responsible to this position including preparation of rosters, recruitment and selection, management of workloads, training, and development to ensure duties are completed efficiently and within timeframes.
- High level of interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and liaise effectively with staff at all levels within a large organisation, consumers/residents, their families/carers, community and government agencies, volunteers and the public with tact, diplomacy, and discretion.
