In the role of Advisor (Project Controls), you will provide support to program and project managers and project team members on a range of infrastructure project support activities to support the effective delivery of the region's Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP).

Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Collate and analyse financial QTRIP program and project performance reports, advising recommendations for corrective actions where appropriate.
• Ensure successful QTRIP program outcomes through effective resource utilisation, schedule performance monitoring, analysis and reporting.
• Scrutinise QTRIP project records for data quality and action changes where required.
• Undertake a range of program and project activities to facilitate QTRIP program development and review periods.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with all QTRIP project/program stakeholders.
• Coach delivery and support staff, to ensure appropriate program capability and training needs are identified and actioned.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance obligations, standards, legislation and procedures.
• Comply with the WH&S Act, Regulations and Department Policy.

Requirements of the role
• Experience in and demonstrated knowledge of project or program financial management and/or project scheduling.
• High level communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain strong work relationships.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise and delegate workloads in a busy program management environment.
• High level reporting skills and demonstrated ability in the use of data analysis software (eg. Microsoft Excel, Power BI)
