This is a temporary full-time position to commence from 14 July 2025 until 12 December 2025 with possibility of extension.

Bundaberg South State School has an inviting campus and facilities, serving approximately 170 students in Prep to Year 6. Our spacious classrooms and well-equipped library foster an environment that promotes active learning and student engagement.

About the Role

As the Principal your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the school community in developing and committing to a shared vision focused on quality learning outcomes for all students.
  • Uphold values-based, ethical and moral leadership.
  • Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
  • Set high standards for student and staff performance.
  • Engage in lifelong learning and professional development.
  • Form partnerships with parents, agencies, community groups and stakeholders.
  • Be future-oriented and strategic.
  • Understand policies and legislation impacting the school.
  • Manage department resources to achieve goals.
