Business Manager - Rainbow Beach State School

Rainbow Beach State School is seeking a passionate and driven Business Manager to join our dynamic team on a temporary part-time basis, at 0.51 FTE and 37 hours per fortnight, until 12 December 2025, unless otherwise determined.

In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in managing a variety of corporate services that support the smooth operation of the school. You will collaborate closely with the school management team, helping drive systemic change while fostering a positive school community.

Relocation and travel expenses are not provided for acting positions however may be negotiated in circumstances requiring significant travel and relocation of residence. About the Role

As Business Manager, you will oversee administrative, financial, and human resources functions, ensuring the efficient delivery of services. You will also manage and supervise lower-level support staff, handling sensitive issues with key stakeholders. 

Within this role you will interpret and analyse business plans and work alongside the Principal to deliver a range of corporate services. You will manage the timely delivery of organisational executive and administrative support; frequently identify opportunities to adapt processes; supervise the support staff workforce; and encourage an environment in which quality services are delivered by demonstrating best practice, inspiring change and influencing key stakeholders.
The Business Manager reports to the Principal and liaises other staff.
