The role of Advisor (Network Events) is to assist with the development of appropriate event transport plans and processes in conjunction with Translink passenger transport business partners, including service planning, contract management, operational and customer communications, revenue assurance and customer service arrangements. You will also maintain records and report on Alternative Transport and Event finances for both internal and external bodies.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with the coordination of multimodal Event Transport Management Plans for special events, including necessary research, analysis and consultation with stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain effective internal and external partnering relationships with TransLink's business partners in rail, bus, tram and the broader event environment, including other government departments, local government authorities, special events teams and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on event rail, tram, and bus service operations to ensure provision of required services and satisfactory outcomes, while managing operator expectations and maintaining effective working relationships.
  • Provide effective administration of performance-based contracts with rail, tram and bus operators to ensure compliance with operational, contractual and financial obligations.
  • Provide regular reports to Manager (Network Events) and Principal Advisor (Network Events) on the performance of event and alternative transport services.
